DFBY Foundation (Donate for Bhurungamari Youth Foundation) is a registered non-profit organization that empowers rural communities in Bangladesh, focuses on healthcare, disaster response, skills training, women’s empowerment, and community development. Together, we build a brighter and more sustainable future.
Vision: We envision a Bangladesh where resilient and empowered communities, with equal opportunities for employment and skill development, can overcome disasters, embrace sustainable practices, and thrive in a healthy, equitable future where women are empowered.
Mission
Mission: DFBY Foundation is dedicated to safeguarding and empowering the communities by:
- Building disaster preparedness: Equipping communities with the knowledge and skills to anticipate, respond to, and recover from disasters.
- Promoting environmental sustainability: Fostering responsible practices to protect the environment and mitigate climate change impacts.
Objectives

NOKSHA O JIBON
Launched in 2023, Noksha O Jibon project tackles unemployment within our communities. This initiative empowers women by equipping them with the skills and resources needed to succeed in the ready-made dress production industry. Through Noksha O Jibon, we're building a brighter future for men and women, fostering economic growth, and creating sustainable employment opportunities.

Together, we can empower rural women by equipping them with garment production skills and training. This collaboration will create sustainable employment opportunities and boost economic growth within our communities.
IMPACT
DFBY Foundation's impact extends far beyond immediate relief efforts. We measure our success by the lasting positive change we create in the lives of those we serve. The COVID-19 Emergency Response Project, for example, reached over 10,000 families with essential healthcare services, taking significant pressure off local facilities. Over 700 trained volunteers delivered aid, raised awareness........

Israfill’s story shows how DFBY Foundation’s healthcare programs truly make a difference. Both Israfill and his sister, Monjuara, have beta-thalassemia, a serious illness. When Monjuara’s health got worse, Israfill knew he had to act.

Ensuring Health and Wellbeing: Free Medical & Blood Donation Camps We are committed to ensuring the health and well-being of our rural community. Recognizing that access to quality healthcare can be a challenge, we have been actively working in the health sector for over four years in close collaboration with the Upazila Health Department. Through this collaboration, we have organized numerous free medical camps and blood donation campaigns, bringing vital healthcare services directly to the people who need them most.
