It was an honor to receive the official recognition of “Donate for Bhurungamari” as an organization that has been providing basic healthcare services along with food & hygiene materials to the COVID-19 patients & the marginalized communities at Bhurungamari Upazila or Sub-District since the outbreak of novel coronavirus in Bangladesh.
Yesterday, the Honorable Upazila Nirbahi Officer or UNO ( The head of the Upazila Administration in Bangladesh) Md. Firuzul Islam and Upazila Health & Family Planning Officer or UH&FPO ( The Head of the Upazila Health Department in Bangladesh) Dr. Abu Sazzad Mohammad Sayem, jointly signed the letter of Acknowledgement for the continuous dedication & services of “Donate for Bhurungamari” during the COVID-19 pandemic. The letter of Acknowledgement also a legal document that certifies the coordination of Donate for Bhurungamari with the Upazila Administration, Health Department & Police Administration to provide basic physical & mental healthcare services to the COVID-19 contaminated patients along with providing foods & other livelihoods to the vulnerable poor communities in Bhurungamari Upazila of Bangladesh. The letter was given to Md. Ashikur Rahman, Founder & CEO of Donate for Bhurungamari by the honorable Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Firuzul Islam on 2 September 2020.
