Winter Clothes Distribution 2024: Bringing Warmth to Kurigram
Our mission to uplift and support vulnerable communities remains unwavering. This winter, we continued our tradition of distributing essential winter clothing to those in need, ensuring they are equipped to face the chilly season with warmth and dignity.
On December 8, 2024, DFBY Foundation, with generous funding from the Baitun-Noor Foundation, successfully organized a winter clothes distribution program in the Bhurungamari upazila of Kurigram district. This initiative is part of our broader commitment to addressing the seasonal challenges faced by underprivileged families in rural areas.
The Purpose Behind the Program
Winter in Bangladesh, especially in northern regions like Kurigram, can be harsh, with temperatures dropping significantly. For families already grappling with poverty, the lack of adequate clothing poses a serious risk to their health and well-being. Our winter clothes distribution program aims to:
