Building a Brighter Future: Education, Opportunity & Equality
DFBY Foundation believes a strong community starts with education, opportunity, and equality for all. That’s why we focus on helping people overcome challenges like unemployment, early marriage, and limited opportunities for women.
- Education for All: We believe everyone deserves a quality education. Sadly, many children in our community face obstacles due to poverty, tradition, or location. Here’s how we’re helping:
- Scholarships: We offer scholarships, in collaboration with the Care & Shine Foundation, to bright students from underprivileged families, so they can afford to pursue higher education.
- Bridge Courses: For students who need extra help, we offer bridge courses to catch them up and prepare them for mainstream education.
- Early Childhood Education: We know the early years are crucial. We run workshops for parents and caregivers, teaching them how to support their children’s learning and development.

Child Marriage:
- Ending Child Marriage: Child marriage hurts girls’ education and future prospects. We’re working with the Bangladesh Police to tackle this issue through:
- Awareness Campaigns: We hold workshops and events to educate communities about the dangers of child marriage.
- Empowering Girls: We provide girls with educational opportunities and life skills training, so they can make informed choices about their futures.
- Community Engagement: We work with community leaders, religious figures, and parents to change attitudes and traditions that support child marriage.
Investing in Skills for the Future: In addition to traditional education, we recognize the growing importance of technical skills. We are working with SACK Trading IT Agency to provide Freelancing Courses, equipping individuals with the skills they need to thrive in the digital economy.
