DFBY Foundation has successfully conducted the program, graced by the presence of a distinguished delegation from Proshika traveling from Dhaka.

The honorable guests included Proshika’s Program Director, Mr. Md. A.K.M Hasan Sayed; Deputy Director, Ms. Sumona Rani Das; Rangpur Zonal Manager, Ms. Shahana Mustari; and Accountant, Mr. Arman.

The event took place in the river erosion-prone area of Paikerchhara Union under Bhurungamari Upazila in Kurigram.

During the program, the guests engaged in a fruitful dialogue with the members and volunteers of DFBY Foundation expressing a strong interest in future collaborations.

They discussed various ongoing programs and projects of Proshika, outlining specific areas where both organizations could work together effectively.

Following the event, the delegation visited the local char (riverine island) areas and the official premises of DFBY Foundation. Furthermore, they inspected our ongoing initiatives, including the “Noksha O Jibon” projects, among others.

After the project inspections, the guests met with Dr. Abu Sazzad Mohammad Sayem, Honorable Advisor to DFBY Foundation and Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer of Bhurungamari.

The meeting primarily focused on Proshika’s health initiatives, during which Dr. Sayem comprehensively briefed the guests on the extensive activities and community impact of DFBY Foundation.

Proshika is a highly reputed non-governmental organization (NGO) with a nationwide presence, currently recognized among the top 10 NGOs in Bangladesh.

The primary objective of this engagement was to explore the implementation of Proshika’s projects in Kurigram District, with a special focus on Bhurungamari Upazila.

By bringing these projects here, we aim to create youth employment, eradicate joblessness, empower women, and drive sustainable development in the district’s marginalized sectors.

We are highly optimistic that this vision will be realized through the sincere cooperation and collective efforts of all stakeholders.
